Ulster : Omagh Riding for the Disabled
Aims of organisation/group: Riding for the Disabled uses horses and ponies to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. Our riders benefit from the close interaction with both the horses and helpers in many ways.
Proposed project with regional grant: funding to refurbish premises, and purchase equipment to make the centre accessible to a wider spectrum of children with special needs.

Munster: CoAction West Cork Ltd.
Aims of organisation/group: CoAction West Cork Ltd. provide a range of services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities in Clonakilty, Skibbereen, Bantry, Castletownbere and Dunmanway.
Proposed project with regional grant: funding of a sensory integration therapy service for persons with an intellectual disability.

Leinster: Kildare Services St. Raphael’s
Aims of organisation/group: Kildare Services St. Raphael’s is a residential and day-care centre which caters for people with an intellectual learning and/or physical disability.
Proposed project with regional grant: funding of refurbishment of existing building used for members with special needs.

Connacht: Kiltimagh Special Olympics Club
Aims of organisation/group: Kiltimagh Special Olympics Club provide a social outlet and encourage integration for people with special needs into the community via a number of activities including sport.
Proposed project with regional grant: funding for the finishing of a Bocce Centre.

Dublin: Darndale/Belcamp Integrated Childcare Services Ltd.
Aims of organisation/group: Darndale/Belcamp Integrated Childcare Services Ltd. provide parents of children in the local area with childcare services to build self esteem, self confidence and feeling of self worth. Service is open to all children both with and without special needs.
Proposed project with regional grant: funding of a multi sensory area for children with special needs.
