Nolan’s first fight to take place this Sunday, July 29th
Dublin based Garda Credit Union - St. Raphael’s have announced the sponsorship of Ireland’s Olympic welterweight boxing hopeful, 25 year old Adam Nolan.
The two-time Irish Welterweight Champion and Bray based Garda, is currently settling into the Athlete’s village in London where he will continue his training. His first fight will take place on Sunday July 29th.
Nolan from the Ballagh in Wexford, secured a position in the 2012 London Olympics by defeating Romanian Ionut Gheorghe 19-10 in the 69kg welterweight semi-finals at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Trabzon, Turkey.
