Santa Claus is coming…to a town near you! The build up to December 25th is not complete without a trip to see Mr Claus.

So, we compiled the top 10 best places to visit Santa this festive season.
 

1. Santa at Tayto Park

 

Tickets to Santa in Tayto Park are packed with value. Included with your visit to Santa is all day entry to the park itself. 2. Wonder – Christmas Experience at Fota Island


Wonder runs from the 22nd of November to the 23rd of December in Fota Island Resort. Details of the Christmas Experience are a surprise for Wonder-goers. But you are definitely promised plenty of festive magic, surprises and festive cheer as you search for magic deep within the woods. You don’t have to stay in the hotel to visit Santa. 3. Santa’s Elf Training Camp at Croke Park

 

Santa’s Elf Training Camp kicks off in GAA Headquarters, Croke Park on Saturday 23rd of November. Elf training camp will run for selected dates until Monday December 23rd. Prices range from €20 for adults, €16 for children aged 2-12 years and €8 for toddlers aged 13-23 months. Children under one year go free. Children attending the Elf training camp will experience a tour of the elf dressing rooms - and even have a chance to take a selfie with the coveted Croke Park pitch! 4. Christmas at W5

 

Why not step into Christmas by taking a trip to Santa Street at W5 in Belfast? Snowtown is a winding street in the heart of this magical Christmas kingdom. 5. Atlantic Air Adventures

 

There is only one word for this. WOW! For anyone into flying, or looking for something different this festive season, this is a must-visit. Who wouldn’t want to meet Santa in the Atlantic Air Adventure Centre? Located in Co. Clare, you can visit Santa in the flight deck - and try out a flight simulator. 6. Elf Town Galway

 

This year Galway Racecourse in Ballybrit is home to Elf town. Opening on the 29th of November and running every Friday, Saturday & Sunday until, 23rd December. 7. Avoca Powerscourt

 

Santa is arriving to Powerscourt on Saturday November 16th and he’s going to stay put until the 23rd of December. 8. Santa’s Grotto at Bunratty Castle

9. Hidden Valley Holiday Resort

 

Christmas Island will be at the Hidden Valley Holiday Park in Wicklow until the 23rd of December. Islanders can enjoy enchanted train journeys to the Fairy Forest, singing and dancing with Santa’s elves. You can also sit back and relax in the Christmas Cinema Room. 10. Santa’s House Express – Palmerstown

 

Back for its sixth year, Santa’s Express Train will arrive at the Palmerstown Estate from Saturday November 23rd. This inclusive family fun fair has something for everyone. This year, there are also magical editions to the Christmas festival light show. Once checked in, you will receive your boarding pass for Santa’s Express Train when your festive journey will begin! Christmas at the Ailwee Caves

 

Guided by one of Santa’s elves, you can walk through the cave passages singing festive songs and listening to all the top tips from the magic elves. Not only that, but you’ll receive a glass of hot punch and mince pie while your little ones chat with Santa and his helpers. There is also a sensory day on the 6th of December.
