Looking for somewhere to turn? Your local credit union is here to stay and we’re here to reiterate the importance of being a member of your local credit union.

Credit unions are fair and ethical lenders, who we’re founded with the sole purpose of meeting the needs of their members. Credit unions are located across every town and village on the island of Ireland and offer services such as loans, savings, insurance, mortgages, current accounts, debit cards and a personal, human service.

Credit union loans, unlike expensive money lenders, are capped at 12% (12.68% APR) interest rate. Money lenders interest rates can rise as high as 150%. Credit unions across the island of Ireland, offer members fair and reasonable rates, with no hidden fees or charges. With the credit union, what you see is what you get.

Credit unions are run by people, for people, and operate on a not for profit basis. Any surplus of profits are put back into local communities, to enrich the lives of everyone. By supporting local initiatives, sponsoring local clubs, enabling local groups such as Youth Clubs to provide amenities to locals, the credit union plays a huge role across all aspects of Irish life.

As a cornerstone of local communities, credit unions are always on hand to support our members. We listen to each individual story, and are here to help. Talk to us today, we are open and always treat each member on an individual level. Everyone is different, and we all need tailored support.
