We are currently seeking an Administration/Lending Officer to assist with the smooth and effective running of our credit union. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented individual to join our team

Role Description:

Administration work including updating member EFTs/Standing Orders daily
Inputting End of Day daily totals and balancing Bank Reconciliation
Work as part of the lending team dealing with incoming lending queries and documentation
Maintain a quality service to members and colleagues. Promoting MCU products and services

Role Attributes

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills lending and accounts experience an advantage. Analytical skills and organisational skills are essential. QFA or working towards same an advantage.

Role reports to the Manager

Key Functions

Completing Bank Reconciliation and Accounts administration
Updating member EFT payments and reconcile payments with the Bank
Balancing the Daily lodgements to the Bank Rec and reconciling the Bank Accounts
Engage with members to discuss their lending query
Ensure members are attended to in a timely and efficient manner, in the office or incoming phone calls
Advise members on document requirements
Discuss loan cases with other lending officers
Cover for lunches and holidays when required with other member of staff
Dealing with income loan documents in a timely manner
Maintain strong team ethic and group morale
