Credit Union Manager
St Michael’s Credit Union is a member owned financial co-operative dedicated to serving its members in the areas of Mahon and Blackrock in Cork City. Headquartered in Skehard Road, Blackrock St. Michael’s Credit Union serves over 14,000 members and has assets under management in excess of €61M
Reporting to the board of Directors we now need someone special to create & execute the vision and strategic direction for the business in line with the values of St Michaels Credit Union.
St Michaels CU are looking for a highly motivated individual with a track record of achievement across revenue generation and cost control strategies and a proven appetite for change management to improve membership services.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
- Financial /IT/ Administrative operational systems
- Credit union financial management & operations
- HR management skills
- Strategy & business model development and implementation
The role is open to suitably qualified candidates from across the broad business sector and requires an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the credit union operates.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Credit Union movement or a related financial institution is a distinct advantage.
