Full time MLRO/Teller - Dunboyne & District Credit Union Ltd

Dunboyne & District Credit Union are inviting applications for a full time Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer/ Teller to join our team.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Board of Directors and the CEO of the credit union, for carrying out a range of administrative & operational duties, that contribute to the running of the credit union.

 

Principle Responsibilities include:

  • Follow the credit union’s anti-money laundering policies & procedures, identifying all statutory & regulatory obligations in Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing applicable to the credit union
  • Monitoring transactions for AML purposes
  • Receiving & acting upon reports of all suspicious transactions, including reporting to the Gardai, Revenue & Financial Intelligence Unit
  • Reporting to the Board of Directors & CEO each month
  • Ensuring that all staff & Board have up to date AML training
  • Provide quality service to members at the counter, including processing transactions & loan draw downs
  • Accurately & diligently handle cash and card payments, reconciling balances
  • Deal with members’ queries at the counter, over the phone & online
  • Ensure member records are kept up to date
  • Complete other duties as required by Management

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous compliance experience within a financial services environment
  • A relevant qualification such as Pathways Diploma or ACOI Compliance
  • Excellent organisational, communication& interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in delivering customer service at the highest level
  • Excellent IT and administration skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in handling cash & dealing with the public
  • Experience working in a credit union or financial services environment would be a distinct advantage
  •
