Job Title: Member Service Officer – Maternity Cover
Reporting To: The Manager
Summary of Role:
Oldcastle Credit Union operates from a busy office on Millbrook Road, with a highly efficient and friendly team who take pride in looking after our members. We are inviting applications for a new team member to cover maternity leave. Whether you are starting out in your working life, looking for a career change or considering a return to work after a break, this role offers the chance to gain financial and customer services experience that will open up new opportunities to you.
Duties will include:
- Helping members to understand our products and services
- Providing service to members at the counter and on the phone to enable them to make transactions, open accounts, apply for loans or resolve queries
- Handling cash with accuracy and care
- Entering and updating member information on the computer system
- Doing your share of filing and other general administration tasks
Applicants should have strong Leaving Cert results or a third level qualification and a genuine interest in the co-operative ethos. While front-line customer service experience may be an advantage, it is not essential, as full training will be provided. At interview, candidates should be able to evidence interpersonal skills, numeracy, and the ability to learn and perform complex procedures.
