Monasterevan Credit Union Limited are recruiting for a Full-Time Member Service Officer

The Member Service Officer is on the front line of service provision for Monasterevan Credit Union Limited and is the warm, professional friendly face that greets members and embodies our culture and ethos. Excellent Member Service skills and attention to detail is a must in this role.

Dealing with member services transactions, with a courteous, pleasant, and professional service. This is done via the phone, face-to-face interaction at the counter, through email

Reporting directly to the Manager the Member Service Officer will provide an efficient and helpful service to members including, but not limited to:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality service to the members at the counter, including processing lodgements, withdrawals, loan draw downs and repayments
  • Accurately and diligently handle cash; reconcile balances
  • Deal with members queries
  • Promote the products and services of the Credit Union to existing and potential members
  • Ensure member information kept on file is accurate and up to date
  • Complete other duties as required by Management

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in the delivery of customer services to the highest standard
  • Experience with keyboard skills and administration skills
  • Experience working in a credit union/retail financial services environment would be an advantage
  • Experience in handling cash and dealing with the public

The role is 35 hours per week and the starting salary will depend on the candidate’s experience
