Member Service Officer
Position: Member Service Officer
Contract: Permanent Contract (37 Hours)
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Drumcondra – Dublin 9
About Us
Founded in 1994, ANSAC Credit Union Ltd. is an industrial credit union with over 7,500 members across the Army, Naval Service and Air Corps. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Member Service Officer to join our team.
Role Description:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will have a variety of duties within the credit union. Such duties to include:

Serving members through multiple channels i.e., telephone, online or over the counter.

Looking after all aspects of loan administration, ensuring safekeeping of credit agreements and other relevant documentation and practising good customer due diligence (CDD).

Dealing with member queries on our products and services.

Processing transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.

Referring loan applications to the loan office.

Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

Completing other duties as assigned to include a range of administrative and organisational tasks as delegated by the line manager.
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working in a frontline role with the public - credit union or similar financial institution experience would be an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements as set out in the Central Bank Guidelines, (QFA / CUA (Loans) / APA in Loans / Pathways CU Diploma / ACCUP. ANSAC Credit Union Ltd. will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain qualifications if not already in receipt.

Excellent analytical & decision-making skills.

Member focused, friendly with an excellent telephone manner.

Ability to work to deadlines and can prioritise tasks.

Willingness to be flexible and take on new tasks and projects.

Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience of the Progress Banking System would be an advantage.
