Member Services Officer - Athlone Credit Union

(12-month fixed term contract)

Applications are invited for the post of Member Services Officer (12-month fixed term contract).

 

Summary of Role:

The Member Services Officer will be accountable to the Head of Operations of Athlone Credit Union in carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities, that contribute to the effective running on the credit union and providing a quality service to members.

 

Key knowledge, skills and experience required;

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Studies, Secretarial or equivalent course is essential
  • Cash handling experience
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of I.T
  • Proficient in reporting with some financial analysis skills
  • Ability to use discretion and sensitivity in dealing with members
  • Demonstrate self-initiative while working within the ethos of the credit union

The successful candidate will be pleasant, courteous and trustworthy and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to member service. A relevant qualification in the financial service industry would be an advantage.
