Member Services Officer 

Finglas Credit Union Ltd operates two branches serving over 20,000 members and has been a trusted part of the Finglas community for almost 60 years. We are seeking a motivated and member-focused Member Services Officer to deliver a high standard of service across all channels in person, by phone and online.

Role: Member Services Officer – Full Time
Location: Finglas Credit Union Ltd
Reporting to: Office Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Process member transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and daily balancing.

  • Respond to member enquiries and service requests in a professional, courteous and timely manner.

  • Promote and explain the Credit Union’s products and services to members.

  • Carry out administrative and operational duties as required.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of member information and adhere to all policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience with Progress Banking systems is essential.

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a credit union or banking/financial services environment (required).

  • Experience in cash handling and dealing directly with the public.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and friendly manner.

  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • A professional qualification such as QFA, CUA, or APA is desirable. Candidates without a qualification must complete two QFA modules within 2 years of employment.
