Currently has the following vacancy for the position of
Member Services Officer
Location: 4 Main Street, Malahide, Co Dublin.
Reporting to: CEO
Contract Status: Permanent- Part-Time Contract 17.5 Hours.
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday
General Scope of the Role
The Member Services Officer will be accountable to CEO for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union.
Main Purpose of the Role
The role holder is required to assist members with all aspects of Credit Union Business while working as part of a team to provide support in dealing with:
- Account transactions
- Account queries
- Member applications
- Loan applications
- Insurance Services
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good IT skills
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a frontline role within a credit union or similar financial institution
- Strong teamwork ability
- QFA or APA Loans qualification desirable (or to be actively working towards obtaining qualification)
- The Credit Union will provide financial support for the successful candidate to obtain a suitable qualification e.g. APA Loans / QFA where it is not held currently
The role holder will be required to satisfy the minimum competency requirements and meet the required fitness and Probity standards as set out by the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Regime for credit unions.

The role is 17.5 hours per week and the starting salary will depend on the candidate’s experience.
