Member Services Officer


Location:  Rowlagh Credit Union, Collinstown Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22
Reporting to:  Manager
Contract Status:  Part time permanent – 20 hours per week


General Scope of the Role

The Member Services Officer will be accountable to the Manage for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union. This is a part time role with variable working hours per week - Monday to Friday including evenings.  

Main Purpose of the Role

The role holder is required to assist members with all aspects of Credit Union Business while working as part of a team to provide support in dealing with:

  • Account transactions

  • Account queries

  • Member applications

  • Loan applications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good IT skills

  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working in a frontline role within a credit union or similar financial institution

  • Experience using Progress IT system is preferable but not essential

  • Strong team work ability.

  • QFA/CUA preferable but not essential.
