Job Title: Team Leader
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Summary of Role:
Heritage Credit Union is seeking applications for a full-time Team Leader within our branch network. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills to enable them to manage and motivate our front-line member service teams, ensure a professional and positive member service experience, and provide effective administrative support.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing all aspects of team performance, across a number of our branches, including team building, motivation, coaching, attendance/timekeeping and conducting performance appraisals. In this role you will use your leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills and will be an effective communicator at all levels in the credit union, and with members.

While training will be available to supplement existing knowledge and experience, the ideal candidate should have:
Previous experience of working in a supervisory role
Previous experience in a credit union or bank teller role
Strong people and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Member focussed, committed to first class member service values
Comfortable in either team or solitary work situations.
Permanently positive attitude.
Hold a relevant qualification e.g. CUA, QFA, Pathways Diploma
Lending experience / skills
Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
Clean driving licence with access to own transport.
- Demonstrated leadership experience gained either inside or outside the work environment. This could be in relation to previous specific projects that have been worked on.
