Teller / Clerical Officer – Blackpool Credit Union Limited

Reporting to: Management Team     Contract Status: Full-time Contract.
 

Scope of the Role: 

The Teller / Clerical Officer will report to the Management Team and be responsible for carrying out a range of delegated administrative and operational duties that contribute to the effective running of the credit union.
 

Main Duties of the Role

The Officer will be part of the member services team, responsible for:

  • Dealing with member queries at the counter and on the phone

  • Processing transactions

  • Providing a quality service to members

  • Ensuring compliance is adhered to

  • Other duties as required

  • Back office administration/clerical duties;

 

We are seeking a candidate who has:

  • Good IT and numeracy skills;

  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Aptitude to work as part of a team;

  • Previous experience working in a frontline role dealing with the public;

  • Experience of working in a credit union or financial institution would be an advantage;

  • QFA, CUA, ACCUP or Pathways qualifications preferable but not essential.

  • Knowledge and experience of using Octagon IT system an advantage.

 
Contract Status: Full-time contract, which will require working on Saturdays.
