Teller/Clerical Officer


Position available on a full time basis.
Contract Status: Fixed Term – 12 Month Contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational and administrative duties that will contribute to the effective running of the day to day operations of the credit union.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with member transactions
  • Operating the Credit Union Computer System
  • Responding to queries on a day to day basis at the front counter
  • Handling Office Documentation
  • Accurate and diligent handling of cash and reconciling daily balances
 

The Successful Candidate Should Have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Be computer literate (e.g. word & excel)
  • Credit Union/retail financial services experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Qualification such as CUA or ACCUP would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is a requirement
  • Strong administration and problem solving abilities
  • Experience of the Progress Banking System would be an advantage
