Dungannon CU is seeking applications from self-motivated individuals who want to be part of a growing organisation. Applicants should be committed to achieving high standards and have a flexible approach to work. This is a full-time permanent position requiring candidates to work 34.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday.

Successful candidates will be required to provide professional, friendly & efficient front-line services to members through a variety of channels. You will report to the manager and be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative & operational activities that contribute to delivering first class member service and to the effective running of the Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members with all aspects of Credit Union business

  • Accurate & diligent handling of cash & reconciling daily balances

  • Process member applications and transactions

  • Successfully resolve account queries

  • Arrange payment options for members

  • General office administration

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & proven ability in delivering excellent member service (proficiency in both spoken and written English language is a requirement)

  • An aptitude for numeracy, cash handling and balancing

  • Ability to work as part of a team & use own initiative to meet deadlines

  • Computer Literate

  • Strong administration & problem-solving abilities

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs achieving grades C or above including English & Mathematics

Remuneration will be competitive and based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience.
