What do you think is the greatest contributions that Credit Unions make
Credit Unions are more than just financial institutions; they are integral to the fabric of local communities, providing financial services with a human touch that is often missing in larger, profit-driven banks. Their role extends beyond banking, touching upon social, educational, and community, where decisions are made locally and for the benefit of the members.

As an ILCU Board/Supervisory Committee member what do you hope to achieve during your term?
During my first term as Director of the ILCU Board, I will with the rest of the Directors oversee the ongoing implementation of the strategic plan by our management team.  Shaping Tomorrow Together 2025 – 2028 is a three-year strategic roadmap with four clear and focused strategic priorities.

If you were Minister for Credit Unions what one change would you make
If I were Minister for State for Credit Unions I would prioritise deeper collaboration across the credit union sector. My goal would be to establish a single, unified body to represent the entire credit union movement – a body that could speak with one voice while respecting the diversity of local credit unions.
