‘I suppose my ideal house I something made of corrugated tin, so very vernacular, so a wooden house, kind of funky – so the idea being they have a big huge open space, so they can have big tall open ceilings.’

‘Somewhere where I knock down all the walls on the inside of, so it’s like a bright open airy space so all the spaces are connected - like the traditional cottage - there’s no people in the good room or the bad room, all rooms are equal.’

‘I don’t like that anything isn’t too formal, I’m quite an informal person, so I’d like people to be able to walk into the house and feel welcome.’
